About Me

I’m creative at heart. I write, mostly fantasy and sci-fi – prose, scripts, and poems. I draw, digitally, some traditional. I crochet. Most of all I adore the collaborative storytelling of tabletop RPGs, both as a player and a game master.

I have a degree in Film and Psychology and love combining the creative and scientific parts of my brain in my work! Since 2023 I’ve been working as a therapist and guidance councillor for kids with Autism.

A brief Backstory

From 2011 to 2014 I attended Film School in Newport, Wales, and had the amazing opportunity of working with a bunch of ridiculously lovely people on various short films. In my three years, I specialized in screenwriting and production. Since then I’ve done various industry internships, tried my hand at writing spec scripts, and continued working on personal projects along the way. My creative focus has shifted to Fantasy and Sci-Fi with an emphasis on character studies and world-building – a fascination I get to explore in the context of D&D and other tabletop RPGs. I’ve also renewed my love for visual art and have taken the time to level up my digital drawing skills. Beyond that, I have an affinity for dabbling in new projects from crocheting to 2D animation, video editing, embroidery, and the early stages of game development – there is always something new to spark my creativity.

In 2015 I decided to level up my science-based character stats by studying psychology. I started my bachelor’s in Landau, Germany and finished that pursuit with a Master’s in 2022 in Kassel, Germany. Since then I’ve worked as a therapist and guidance counselor for kids with Autism.

My Professional Writing Credits

Ubisoft, Anno 1800

From April to September 2021, I took on the role of Writing Intern for Anno 1800, at Ubisoft Mainz. Throughout my six months, as the only game writer on the team at the time, I was able to take on various writing tasks, chief among them my contributions to the “High Life” DLC. Among other things, I was able to write dialogue, guestbook entries, ambient voice lines/barks, item descriptions, and menu texts. In addition, I was able to provide feedback during voice recording sessions and support during the (German) localization process. Some of the work I did during that time can be found here or in the game itself.
